#wish

Hashtags crack me up... I have two daughters: 8 and 13, and they recognize the humor in mocking hashtags... you know: quipping something sarcastic after saying "hashtag..."

That said, I have a few hashtag stickers (designed by Heidi Swapp) and I intend to use them!

Supplies and notes:

  • Watercolor paper inked with Shabby Shutters and Evergreen Bough
  • Next, I stenciled with the Chipped Sapphire Di through a stencil I made using Tim's Mixed Media diamonds
  • I spritzed the final watercolor panel with water, but it didn't give the spotty effect I was hoping for because of the watercolor paper... c'est la vie
  • The stickers are Heidi Swapp... I snagged these on clearance about a year ago
I plan to enter this into the current Colour Q #348... I used the color as inspiration this morning as I had a little time and motivation, but not much guided inspiration.  Wah wah, do I sound like I am complaining??? I'm not.  My motivation stemmed from wanting to hang in the craft-shack while it was cool this morning and also to re-stock my birthday card stash.

I will also enter this into Simon Says Wednesday: AG... want that giftcard!
